Students making sugar cookies

Since 2009, students at Challenger Elementary School have been making Holiday cookies. Our students will cut out and decorate 3 cookies each for a total of about 1500 cookies, but   we won’t eat the cookies ourselves. Instead, we sell the cookies at the 3rd grade Holiday concert and the donations will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation–Make-A-Wish serves a unique, and vital, role in helping strengthen and empower children battling life-threatening medical conditions. This service project by our Challenger students has raised over $6000. This way we help our students learn both service and how important our working together to meet the needs of others who are hurting strengthens our culture and our community. Thank You for your support.
